PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas JingleBAM DAY 1 Golf Giveaway: Titleist TSR & 2023 White Box PROTO Pro V1 and Pro V1x Balls Package

It's time for the first JingleBAM Giveaway in my PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas and this is the kind of package that's gonna light up anyone's face.

This JingleBam package includes one dozen 2023 Titleist White Box Proto golf balls (choose Pro V1 or Pro V1x).  It also includes a TSR Leather Valuables Bag with a Titleist/TSR Ball Marker, a Titleist/TSR Keychain and Bottle Opener, and TSR tees.  And we're not done yet.  You also get a Titleist/TSR Bucket Hat or Tour Cap.  And you can't buy any of this anywhere.

Before I get into the swag in a little more detail I just want to give you a background on why I also do JingleBAM giveaways.  And the answer is pretty simple.  I think all the prizes in my 12 Days are pretty awesome, but there are some that get me so excited I want to and do in fact yell out loud JingleBAM!  In fact when I'm typing JingleBAM in replies to you it's very likely I'm yelling it out loud as I type.  And yeah, nodding... you're damn straight I'm a equal parts golf nerd and Christmas nerd!

Sometimes JingleBam gifts are awesome for obvious reasons, other times subtle reasons.  Regardless, I love these gifts and they kick my adrenaline into high gear and think they do and will for you too.

 

So to the Titleist package.  I usually have reviews for you in my 12 Days articles but honestly did not have the new 2023 Titleist protos out long enough to write a full review yet.  I did however hit them long enough to give a few impressions that I'm very comfortable saying are definite performance results with these new balls.

In a nutshell, both the 2023 ProV1 and ProV1x are longer.  I don't know anything about the cover or core or why that's the case.  I just know it is the case.  I also found both balls to feel softer off all clubs, but still maintaining a difference in feel to distinguish the two.  It's like Titleist took the Pro V1 and ProV1x as they were in previous models, kept differences in spin and trajectory, but shifted both new models to a softer feel.

Pro V1x does fly higher than Pro V1, which is what I expected, and I think it even flies a tad higher than the previous Pro V1x model.  I need to get out more to be completely sure of that.  What might have been my biggest surprise however is I found both the new Pro V1 and Pro V1x to have excellent stopping power 100 yards and in.  Previous models I've always had more spin with Pro V1x in the short game.  With the new balls short game precision and spin seems almost identical.  Really curious to do more testing.

The TSR bag is flat out sweet.  It's leather with fur lining and as mentioned (like with everything else in this Titleist package - you can't buy any of these items anywhere).  It's a great bag.

Inside the bag you get a ball marker with the Titleist logo on one side and TSR logo on the other.  You also get a bag of new TSR tees.  And the keychain is very cool.  Again with a Titleist and TSR logo but also a bottle opener at the end.  Useful.

You can choose between a Titleist bucket hat with TSR logo on the back, or a Titleist Tour cap also with TSR logo on the back.
