Full Set (4-PW) of Cobra Golf 2023 T-Rail Irons or 2022 LTDx Irons: PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway DAY 3

I asked you about a month ago if you'd like to see a full set of Cobra Golf 2022 LTDx irons or Cobra Golf 2023 T-Rail irons in my 12 Days of Christmas this year.  Both models were strong performers for me and two of the easiest to hit Cobra irons I've ever played.

And the results were split.  About half of you wanted to see the new T-Rail, and the other half wanted to see LTDx.  So I'm letting you decide for DAY 3!  The winner can choose whichever set they want, T-Rail or LTDx, any flex, RH or LH.  Sets include 7 irons, and the T-Rail have a dedicated 4H hybrid as well.

I already reviewed both sets of irons for you this year.  If you want a refresher on why I loved both sets so much, here's my review on the 2023 T-Rail irons.  And here's my review on the LTDx irons.  I'll highlight a few points in this article about each set of irons as well since one of you will soon have a new set of Cobra Golf irons!

Let's start with the 2023 T-Rail irons.  T-Rail are the easiest to hit irons I've ever played from Cobra and they're massively long.  They're hybrid style irons of course, which means they're also very easy to launch and extremely forgiving.  And I can't exaggerate how incredibly forgiving they are.  On mishits, high or low on the face, from the fairway and rough, and even with all kinds of funky swings.  About the only thing they can't save you from is if you swing and miss.

The huge distance you get with T-Rail isn't from jacked up lofts either, the lofts are as traditional as any kinds of irons you'll see on the market today.  Cobra has infused H.O.T technology in the T-Rail face which basically means more of the face will act like center strikes in distance, trajectory, spin, launch, everything.  And again the theme of easy right?  Cobra wants those less than perfect shots to still be playable and give you very good results.

The shape of T-Rail are not bulky like you see in many other types of hybrid construction irons.  You have a larger size head of course primarily because of a wider sole, but they're pleasant to look at.  And T-Rail have less offset than the LTDx irons (which surprised me).  Baffler rails legit help keep the club more stable at impact as well as add to the ease of launch from even the nastiest of rough.  And T-Rail sound is very satisfying with a soft, dense sounding click rather than a hollow sound and feel.  Cobra really did everything right with these.

Cobra LTDx irons are the more traditional irons in their game-improvement line-up.  And as with T-Rail Cobra designed these to be easy to hit and more forgiving as well.  T-Rail are ultimately going to be longer and more forgiving for most players, but for those who prefer more traditional shaped irons LTDx stand out.

Compared to their previous model RADSPEED irons, LTDx expanded the hitting area by almost 25-percent.  And that means over a larger area of the face you get more playable performance in distance, trajectory, and spin.  LTDx is also slimmed down from the previous RADSPEED models and weight has been placed lower to also help launch shots higher.

Choosing between T-Rail and LTDx boils down to how much forgiveness and distance advantage you want in your irons.  If you want the max of both T-Rail is the clear choice.

If  you want more traditional shapes with forgiveness and distance advantages over similarly designed irons, then LTDx fits the bill nicely.  Cobra did a great job designing both of these irons.

Remember you always have three different ways to win the daily gifts in my giveaway this year.  On twitter just retweet my giveaway announcement and follow all; on Instagram repost, mention in your story, or like, and follow all; and here on my blog leave a comment in the section below in the daily review/giveaway, Jingle Bam, and Letters from Santa articles.

These gifts are great prizes of course, but also some of the best equipment and gear in their class that I played and reviewed this season.  And I hope these mini reviews and recaps give you an idea of why I rate them so highly.

Merry Christmas all!
