I told you all about my PXG 0311 GEN5 Driver fitting and surprisingly wound up with the XF (and a loft I normally don't play).  The standard (lower spin) driver is usually more in my wheelhouse but that's why a fitting is always so important and beneficial.  You really never know for sure until you get fit..

I will say briefly (so you can have an idea going into your PXG fitting) the 0311 XF GEN5 is considered the more forgiving driver.  It's the larger profile head of the two models and also longer front to back.  And PXG made a quantum leap in forgiveness with 0311 XF not only in terms of retaining ball speeds on misses over a larger area of the face, but also in keeping the head incredibly stable when you do catch it away from center.

 

The PXG 0311 GEN5 driver is the lower spinning, lower launching model and when fit for the a swing that benefits from low spin and low launch is going to generate mammoth distance.  There's significant tech in both drivers including a new titanium alloy face that's both stronger and more flexible than previous face designs.  More flexible face means more ball speed and both drivers deliver.  And like with the 0311 XF you have three weight ports to customize spin and launch and get you dialed in during your fitting.

 

And finally, I want to say again how impressed I am with PXG's wholehearted dedication to the military.  The names and numbers of PXG clubs are based on military protocols, equipment, and weapons.  PXG offers amazing discounts for military and first responders (in some cases up to 50-percent).  And the amount of money PXG and Bob and Renee Parsons raise for service members, veterans, and military families every year is staggering.  The spirit of giving and loving mankind is front and center during the Christmas season.  But PXG and the Parsons passionately embody this spirit every single day.
