Major Champions and Top World Players Headline Early Commitments to the DIO Implant LA Open

Tournament officials announced the preliminary field list for the 2023 DIO Implant LA Open at Palos Verdes Golf Club on March 30-April 2, the first of two LPGA Tour events taking place this spring in the greater Los Angeles area. The tournament is expected to feature a strong international field, with eight of the top-10 players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings currently slated to play in the event.

World No. 1 Lydia Ko, Nelly Korda (2), Minjee Lee (3), Jin Young Ko (5), Brooke Henderson (7), In Gee Chun (8), Hyo-Joo Kim (9), and Nasa Hataoka (10) headline early commitments. Additionally, all four past champions; Moriya Jutanugarn (2018), Minjee Lee (2019), Brooke Henderson (2021), and Hataoka (2022), are set to return for the event’s fifth year on the LPGA Tour. Los Angeles-area residents Andrea Lee, Lilia Vu, Alison Lee, Lizette Salas, and Angel Yin are also entered into the championship.

The field consists of 144 of the world’s best female golfers competing in the 72-hole event Thursday-Sunday, March 30-April 2, for a share of the $1.75 million purse. Players have until Wednesday, March 22, to commit to the DIO Implant LA Open at Palos Verdes Golf Club. GOLF Channel will televise live all four rounds of play in primetime on the East Coast.

Tickets are now on-sale for the 2023 DIO Implant LA Open exclusively online at www.la-open.com/tickets. A variety of ticket packages are available, including two exclusive hospitality options and general admissions tickets offering a wide degree of entertainment and access. New this year, the tournament is now offering a second upgraded hospitality ticket for general spectators located at the Palos Verdes Golf Club Pro-Shop.

In addition, all service personnel, including military (active, retired, reserve and veteran), fire, police and EMS and their immediate family (up to four tickets) will receive complimentary admission to the DIO Implant LA Open. To redeem the complimentary admission, please provide proper ID at the main entrance. Children 17 and under will also be admitted free into the tournament with a paid adult. The JM Eagle LA Championship will take place at Wilshire Country Club on April 24-30, concluding the two-event run in the greater Los Angeles area. DIO Implant LA Open Ticket Options: There are currently four ticket options available for spectators interested in attending the DIO Implant LA Open (**Ticket prices below do not include all taxes and fees**):

Daily Grounds:

General admission daily grounds, valid any one day: Thursday, March 29, Friday, March 30, Saturday, April 1, or Sunday, April 2.

$25 (Valid any one day)

Weekly Grounds:

General admission daily grounds, valid Thursday, March 29 – Sunday, April 2.

$40 (Valid all days Thursday-Sunday)

Pro-Shop Patio – 18th Green Hospitality:

This new upgraded hospitality ticket offers access to the revamped Palos Verdes Golf Club Pro-Shop located behind the tournament’s 18 Green with access to unlimited drinks. The upgrade also comes with a voucher for food on site. Weekly and Daily Tickets are available throughout competition days (Thursday, March 29 – Sunday, April 2).

Daily: $125 (Good any one day)

Weekly: $400 (Valid all competition days Thursday-Sunday)

Club 1924 – 18th Green Hospitality:

Open-air, semi-private luxury suite overlooking the 18 Green. The suite features an open bar and ticket holders have access to the hospitality buffet inside Palos Verdes Golf Club Clubhouse. Weekly and Daily Tickets are available throughout competition days (Thursday, March 29 – Sunday, April 2).

Daily: $350 (Good any one day)

Weekly: $1,000 (Valid all competition days Thursday-Sunday)

Volunteer registration for 2023 DIO Implant LA Open at Palos Verdes Golf Club also is open. Volunteering offers a unique, behind-the-scenes experience of a professional golf event, with positions on 15+ different committees. Volunteer opportunities range from serving as a standard bearer, Marshals, scoring, transportation, and more. Tournament volunteers are asked to be at least 13 years of age, with the registration fee waived for youth volunteers. Registration for the tournament is $55, which includes a polo, hat or visor, food and beverage, and two daily tickets.
