PUMA Golf showed off two new golf shoes at the 2023 PGA Show, the IGNITE ELEVATE and Alphacat NITRO.
The main story with both the IGNITE ELEVATE and Alphacat NITRO is improved comfort and traction.
The new IGNITE ELEVATE uses IGNITE Foam which is PUMA's best blend of stability, comfort, and responsiveness. And a new outsole with 150 strategically dispersed hex plugs has tested to improve both traction and even comfort.
EXOShell is a micro-thin TPU layer fused with a coated mesh for stability that's waterproof and also easy to clean. And the PWRSaddle adds even more construction for stability and adjustability. As you'd expect from PUMA, there are a lot of color options for IGNITE ELEVATE, and the white/black was my favorite. You can get laced or disc (BOA) models, and these are available now.
Puma is also releasing the next generation Alphacat, the Alphacat NITRO in April.
Alphacat NITRO uses a new NITRO Foam that's PUMA's most responsive, softest, and highest energy foam they've made while also providing exceptional stability.
Alphacat NITRO has a new, evolved outsole pattern for even more traction than the PROADAPT Alphacat. And EXOShell construction is also used in these shoes (like in the IGNITE ELEVATE).
And of course I'll tell you how both the IGNITE ELEVATE and Alphacat NITRO perform on the course with future reviews.
