PGA Tour Champions Player Tim Petrovic Signs with Edel Golf

Performance golf equipment manufacturer Edel Golf and Tim Petrovic have officially signed a brand partnership to play Edel’s irons, wedges, and putter on the PGA Tour Champions. Petrovic’s staff bag will adorn Edel Golf’s logo and colors.

RTJ II To Rediscover the History-Rich Cotton Bay Club in The Bahamas

Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects (RTJ II) has been awarded the commission to design a new golf course for Cotton Bay Club on the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas.

The original Cotton Bay Golf Club was part of Pan Am founder Juan Trippe’s ambitious Cotton Bay Club. In 1959, Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Trippe created a new golf destination on a remote stretch of pristine sand and sea on the island’s southern shore. Hackett, Walker Break their Quarterfinal Jinx, Reach Final 4 at Oak Hills C.C.

SiriusXM announced today its coverage of the 2024 PGA Championship, taking place Thursday, May 16th through Sunday, May 19th at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, KY.

Record-Setting Medalists Overcome Delay, Tough Foes to Reach Final 16 at Oak Hills C.C.

Hearing the airhorn on the fifth green, especially with some nerves still fluttering in their stomachs, was not what record-setting co-medalists Lauren and Katelyn Lehigh wanted 73 minutes into their Round-of-32 match on Monday at Oak Hills Country Club.

The new location includes the organization’s equipment-testing and research facility, the visitor-friendly USGA Experience, an outdoor educational landscape feature and the recently relocated World Golf Hall of Fame, as well as administrative offices.

“When I joined the USGA, I shared with our internal teammates that while the USGA will always celebrate history, we’re not going to be afraid to make some. Today is proof positive that we’re just getting started,” said Mike Whan, CEO of the USGA, during the Grand Opening Celebration that took place today. “In four years, we’ve gone from vision to reality, and achieving this important milestone is the action of more than a visitor, but a neighbor. Big Hitter Chris Gotterup Goes the Distance at Myrtle Beach Classic

Bridgestone Golf staffer Chris Gotterup captured his first PGA Tour victory on Sunday at the Myrtle Beach Classic. Gotterup’s confidence in his 2024 Bridgestone TOUR B X golf ball led to a final round 67 and 22-under-par total that was marked by signature big drives and clutch putting.

After a distinguished college career during which he won the Haskins and Nicklaus awards as well as being named Big 12 Golfer of the Year, the New Jersey native decided to search for the best gear for his game and made a visit to Bridgestone’s Covington, GA, facility, where he worked at length with company ball fitters. After seeing first-hand the extreme distance and trajectory control he was getting from the TOUR B X, Gotterup signed as a Bridgestone staffer and began playing the ball as he entered the professional ranks.

Records were flying like a Black Friday sale. Leading the way were two sets of dynamic sisters: Caroline and Catie Craig, of Sautee Nacoochee, Ga., and Loveland, Colo., natives Katelyn and Lauren Lehigh.
