Letters from Santa DAY 2 PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway: Nikon Coolshot Pro II Stabilized Laser Rangefinder

Santa is always full of surprises.  And I'm not just talking about what he's including in DAY 2 of my PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway.  I knew Santa had a pretty decorated amateur golf career.  But I didn't know about all the awards he won.  And I certainly didn't know he also was a Private Investigator and Game Show Host.  I'll let him tell you all about it in his letter below.

Santa told me his game has gone next level since he started using the Nikon Coolshot Pro II Stabilized Laster Rangefinder.  Apparently gave it a shot after reading my review and hasn't looked back.  He requested we include it for DAY 2 and that's good enough for me.

First, here's Santa's actual letter to me.

I've told all of you already the Nikon Coolshot Pro II Stabilized is one of the best golf laser rangefinders you'll ever use.  And you can add Santa to the growing list of golfers who agree.

To just hit on a few highlights here, let's start with Hyper Read Technology.  Measurements are pretty much instantaneous.  Call it lightning fast, insanely fast, blink of an eye fast, whatever you want.  I'm just telling you the Coolshot Pro II Stabilized is one of the, if not the fastest laser rangefinders to shoot and acquire targets.  And this is on sunny days, cloudy days, when it’s getting dark on the course, even rainy days.

Speaking of acquiring targets, I was able to sight targets pretty much anywhere on the course.  You literally have a reliable range up to 1,200 yards, and I was able to lock on to targets from 500 plus yards away with 6X zoom magnification.  This is just damn impressive.

Add in that Coolshot Pro II Stabilized has accuracy to less than three feet, and I'm not sure you can possibly want more in a laser rangefinder.  That's freakishly accurate.  Stabilization tech is also exceptional.  Counteracting or really neutralizing the effects of hand shake and even wind on getting consistent, reliable, and fast measurements is priceless.  In fact, it's the kind of feature that by itself puts Pro ii Stabilized on any best 2025 golf rangefinder shortlist.

Continuous Measurement Mode with the Coolshot Pro II Stabilized will be one of your favorite of the four available modes.  This basically lets you scan and get distances to multiple targets or objects for eight seconds.  I found it was accurate and fast up to 500 yards away.  Again, just insanely impressive.  And happy to report you have a very wide scope of view, maybe the widest of any rangefinder I've ever used.

Coolshot Pro II Stabilized also lets you use the Slope Mode, which is crucial to factoring incline and decline of the course into the actual yardage you need to hit.  Even though it's not legal for tournament play, if a rangefinder doesn't have slope mode, I'm not even looking at it.

In a nutshell the Nikon Pro II Stabilized laser rangefinder just does everything right with premium performance and technology in every feature category.

Remember you always have three different ways to win the daily gifts in my giveaway this year.  And if you missed a day don't worry.  You can enter ANY of the DAY Giveaways anytime throughout the entire 12 Days of Christmas.

On X/Twitter just repost my giveaway announcement and follow all; on Instagram repost or mention in your story, like, and follow all; and here on my blog leave a comment in the section below in the daily review/giveaway, Jingle Bam, Letters from Santa, Jingle Bam Bigger, and Flash Kringle Gonna Kringle articles.

These gifts are great prizes of course, but also some of the best equipment and gear in their class that I played and reviewed this season.  And I hope these mini reviews and recaps give you an idea of why I rate them so highly.

Merry Christmas all, and here's Santa's letter to me again.  Yeah I really do know him!

You know Pete, I envy you.  Always on the go, always going full speed.  You’re basically the real life Looney Tunes Tasmanian Devil of golf.  After the Christmas season slows down I have a lot of time on my hands.  Sure, toy inspection is a year-round gig.  Still don’t know if it’s intentional or not but you won’t believe how often the elves put Spiderman’s mask on Superman’s body, give him Batman’s utility belt and cape, and then inconceivably also Wonder Woman’s boots.  I love the elves to death.  And Marvel superheroes are always a favorite toy at Christmas.  But it’s nightmare fuel for me when this happens.

I’ve had a few odd off-season jobs over the years.  Made a fortune at Santa, P.I.  Millions of files up here on The Pole I keep on everyone.  It was a natural transition… “I see you when you’re sleeping… know if you’ve been bad or good.”   Even got myself one of those Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovavoles Magnum drives.  After I was slapped with the largest speeding fine in North Pole history however Mrs. Claus suggested I trade in the Ferrari for a Fiat.  And like that… my P.I. days were over.

Also tried my hand as a Game Show Host.  Wheel of Kringle was pretty popular in the North Pole.  Answer questions correctly and contestants won Gift Cards good for anything in the Santa’s Toy Workshop.  Like anywhere though I guess, counterfeit gift cards started flooding the market.  And if I’m being honest I knew I didn’t cut it as a Game Show Host when I didn’t get the call to host Celebrity Jeopardy.  Hell… even freaking Aaron Rodgers hosted Celebrity Jeopardy.

You know I’ve tried to get my Tour Card since 1968.  I was a pretty accomplished player in the PolarAm Tour for years.  Actually hold the record for most Player of The Year Awards.  And I know all of you make a big deal about Tiger winning Player of the Year 11 times on the PGA Tour.  But I’m telling my POTY record by comparison makes Tiger look like Maurice Flitcroft.

I sometimes wish I had the technology back then that we have today.  I picked up one of those Nikon Coolshot Pro II Stabilized Laser Rangefinders after I read your review and have never played better in my life.  I lost my amateur status long ago, but I’m hitting targets now with more precision than Christmas Eve chimney drops.  The Pro II Stabilized gives me outstanding performance in every feature category that matters most with an incredible blend of brilliant optics, impressive range, consistent and reliable accuracy, and blazing speed.

So how about for DAY 2 of your PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway we include the Nikon Coolshot Pro II.  Just an insanely impressive piece of golf equipment that deserves a place in your 12 Days.

Make it happen buddy,

SC
