12 PAIRS of Adidas Golf Tour360 24 or Adidas Golf CODECHAOS 25 Golf Shoes: 2024 PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway DAY 12

A PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas tradition kicks off DAY 12.  We have 12 PAIRS of Adidas Golf Shoes for 12 Winners!  And this tradition has never been better as you can choose between two new Adidas superstars: the new Adidas Tour360 24 shoes and the new Adidas CODECHAOS 25 shoes.

Head on over to the Adidas Golf site and choose any Tour360 24 in any color, BOA or lace.  Or do the same with any color, BOA or lace for the CODECHAOS 25.

I told you all about the new Adidas Golf  Tour360 24 and CODECHAOS 25 earlier this year but will touch on a few points about each here again.  I'll also compare these two celebrated shoes a bit to help in the exciting choice that awaits you.

Adidas Golf Tour360 24

Here's the thing about the Adidas Golf Tour360 legacy.  Anytime you see Tour360 you know you're getting golf shoes in the 99th percentile.  First introduced in 2005, this model of golf shoe revolutionized what performance in a golf shoe not only should be, but also can be.  And the latest Tour360 24 version is Adidas Golf again pushing boundaries of technology and innovation to deliver their absolute best.

Any discussion of Adidas Tour360 golf shoes starts with the 360 degree wrap system that hugs every contour of your instep and what inspires the name of these iconic shoes.  And the first immediate thing you feel when you slip on Tour360 24 is how all-around secure your feet feel everywhere.

There's stability in around your midfoot, but also around your forefoot and even your heel.  And I've never worn a pair of Tour360 that give such an exceptional level of arch support as well.   This probably doesn't make sense but to me the Adidas Tour360 shoes could also be called the Adidas Tour720 shoes because there's a constant feeling of stability and support with every step you take, every rotation of your feet during the swing, literally every movement you make in them.  Just massively impressive stability and support.

I won't go deep into the new innovations and you can always read about them on the Adidas site.  But things like an internal stretch sleeve inside the shoes on the sides of the tongue, and different foam designs in different parts of the midsole and heel make Tour360 24 also the most comfortable and best fitting Tour360 to date.  And of course you're also getting premium, soft, breathable, and waterproof leather so your comfort is merged with durability and protection.

As impressive as the stability and support are, comfort is equally so.  There's nothing rigid or stiff feeling about the all around support of Tour360 24.  The heel collar is soft and padded but also feels like it's infused with air.  And enhanced BOOST insole?  Holy Moly!  You can feel the soft but still firm cushion of BOOST in your midfoot and even your heel area now.  BOOST softness is spring-like as opposed to spongey so it's an ideal blend of comfort and stability without sacrificing any of either.  And as your feet move up from the ground you can literally feel the energy return.  I kid you not it's real and it's legit.

In terms of outsole grip and it's hands-down Adidas all-time, all-terrain best.  The combination of an outsole plate that's strategically firm in some places and softer with others, along with (again strategically places spikes and nubs give you absolutely ideal traction throughout your swing, whatever your lie, with all the comfort in the world.

Sure I exaggerate a bit with what I'm about to say next.  But the outsole traction almost feels like it's directing proper footwork rather than merely allowing it.  Again to call this impressive would be a wild understatement.

And finally a quick word about the BOA option.  This is already a bit longer than I had initially wanted but it's so easy to get carried away with how awesome Tour360 24 are.  As mentioned you have BOA options in both the Tour360 24 as well as the CODECHAOS 25.  And everything you could ever want to possibly know about BOA you can find here in my podcast with BOA Lab Senior Director of Biomechanics and Research, Dan Feeney.  You've never gone down the BOA rabbit hole before like you do here.  And when you come back up you'll see BOA in an entirely new light.

Adidas Golf CODECHAOS 25

So many of you have told me Adidas Golf CODECHAOS 23 are the most comfortable golf shoes you've ever worn that I've lost track.  I have some bad news for you though.  They aren't anymore.

CODECHAOS 25 are the next evolution of this model that was first introduced about five years ago and these shoes are a true milestone in spikeless golf comfort and performance.  In a market saturated with spikeless golf shoe options it's easy to see why CODECHAOS 25 stands apart from the rest.  Comfort and performance are at the heart of these shoes.

As soon as you try them on you might be surprised by how much support they give you.  It's a more snug fit than the 23 version yet at the same time it's still a soft, unstructured snug fit.  I don't know if it's a different multi-layer knit but I feel the same flexibility of the previous model but CODECHAOS 23 just have more comfort and stability all around the foot.  Stable flexibility sounds like an oxymoron but Adidas Golf did it.

And speaking of comfort Adidas uses a very similar insole design with CODECHAOS 25 as they do with Tour360 24.  I mentioned above how the Tour360 24 insole BOOST cushioning has been enhanced.  And you have the same sort of hybrid foam insole here.  Cushioning in the midsole area cradles your feet and gives you noticeable energy return.  And different foam technology in the heel area of your foot adds more stability than CODECHAOS 23 while at the same time not sacrificing comfort.  In fact comfort in the heel area is even greater with these 25s.

If you opt for the BOA version of CODECHAOS 25 you'll see a new zipper shroud construction.  I don't want to say BOA or laced is better than the other.  But I can tell your Adidas Golf and BOA worked tirelessly on this new system with the purpose of providing a more locked-in feel.  And it's mission accomplished there.

Adidas also used an outsole plate similar to the Tour360 24 that makes this newest CODECHAOS even more stable than the last.  It's a stability you feel not only walking but throughout your entire swing.  And again it really needs to be applauded.  Adidas improved the stability of the CODECHAOS without sacrificing its lightweight and flexible design.  Yes the plate makes the outsole less flexible but somehow walking in them and playing in them my feet still feel a freedom of natural movement.  And you know how much I loved the CODECHAOS 23 to just wear out and about.  Same thing for me with CODECHAOS 25, they're that comfortable.

As mentioned these are spikeless shoes.  And I've always told you no matter the golf shoe or who makes it I believe proper spiked shoes will always give us the best traction in the worst elements.  With that said for most rounds we play in most weather we encounter the CODECHAOS 25 spikeless outsole is almost like suction cups to the turf.

And in fact Adidas is pushing the boundaries on spikeless performance again here because to me the new lug shapes (that are slightly wider and slightly deeper) do as good a job of replicating spikes as any spikeless model I've ever worn.  Adidas says you have a 40-percent increase in traction with these over the previous model.  I only know these dig in and hold.

Which to Choose?

Well of course that's up to you.  But in terms of the main differences I'd day if you want the utmost in stability Tour360 24 have the edge.  If you want lightweight flexibility CODECHAOS 25 are your huckleberry.  And the knit uppers of CODECHAOS 25 will be slightly more breathable than the leather uppers of Tour360 24.

In terms of similarities you're getting almost identical feel of cushion and energy return with both Tour360 24 and CODECHAOS 25.  Padding around the heels also feels very similar.  And both have fantastic ground awareness with your feet sitting deeper inside the shoes than respective previous models for a better fit.  Both are waterproof and both are available in BOA and lace.

  7. The TOUR 360's are awesome. I had a pair with red stripes a few iterations ago, so I guarantee the upgrades since then are even better. I also prefer the the "real" spikes. If real soft spikes are actually spikes. The more actual cleats vs nubbins, the better for me. I tend to do a lot of slipping otherwise.
#ReleaseTheKringle is ending strong this year. #JingleBAMBigger baby!
